How We Got Here

We’ve been serving farm families and businesses for over 80 years . . . and counting.

1935 Martin M. Weaver started a farm equipment business in the old Groff’s Run Mill fixing and selling used farm machinery.

1936 Signed contract to sell Massey Harris farm equipment.

1947 Constructed new brick building to house a new sales office and more service and parts space.

1965 Constructed new block building for a mechanic shop. The building is currently part of the tractor shop.

1972 Constructed new steel building to setup new machinery. The building is currently the combine and harvester shop.

1991 Signed contract to sell Claas hay equipment.

1992 Signed contract to sell Claas forage harvesters.

1997 Constructed a used parts building for used parts and large new parts storage space.

2001 Signed contract to sell Fendt tractors.

2005 Signed contract to sell Pottinger brand.

2006 Constructed new setup building for setting up hay tools and for repairing harvesting machinery.

2008 Signed contract to sell the Claas Lexion combine.

2010 Constructed addition for new sales offices and additional parts storage space.

2017 MM Weaver purchased the assets of B Equip Inc. in Waynesboro, PA, expanding our customer base in Franklin County and the surrounding areas.

Today Martin M. Weaver’s sons, grandson’s and great-grandsons along with over 60 employees carry on the business of helping farmers feed the world.
